BNDTC offers ready to-draw-paint-embellish wood canvas for art lovers and creatives to develop their persona in a unique platform.
The first element of a design needs to be simple. If a child can pick a pencil and draw a straight line from point A to point B, this qualifies in our definition of simple. Another example is when we design a box. A box is like a square piece of engineering design. It is stable and strong. This, therefore, qualifies in our definition of simple. Finally, the last example is appearance. If we perceive the box or structure to be pleasing, then it fits in our definition of simple because when the box or structure is pleasing, then it is also popular, and popular is a simple concept of acceptance.
Wood is the preferred choice in our media for art. Wood is plentiful and popular as a medium of expression. For example, wood is functional and therefore we make tables and chairs. Wood is also combustible and therefore we burn wood for warmth. Finally, wood is decorative and therefore we design wood for many purposes, especially for its aesthetic character. At BNDTC, we firmly hold to the belief that wood is a natural resource to be conserved. To respect wood, it needs to be sustainable first so we can use it for this art form.
In our description of super, we use two suffixes, namely -good and -ficial. So, wood as ready-to-draw-paint-embellish canvas needs to be super-good and not superficial: the latter which is already in the English vocabulary meaning some kind of inferior thing and/or a pretense in some form or other. At BNDTC, our products must meet strict criteria of quality achievement without compromising on ideals such as sustainability, heritage, and craftsperson-ship. We certainly don't want to fail in this standard, and we cannot pretend that our products do not fall out of line with industry norms of certification.
BNDTC engineers only two types of design for its production: The Drawer Design and The Tissue Box Design. Construction is based upon open-end dovetail technique and finish is based upon several factors: graininess, adaptability, and versatility. For example, if we finished the wood coarsely, this lends to water-color painting nicely. If we finished the wood finely, this lends to drawing and many other painting applications, including liquid art and airbrush or spray paint. Finally, if we leave the wood as a medium finish, this leads to applications such as wood gouging, wood stressing, or wood carving as well as external embellishments such as scrapbooking and memorabilia.
The Drawer Design and The Tissue Box Design: These designs are strong, stable, sustainable, simple, and super-good. They are manufactured either singly or in nests or in batches or in multiples (mixed).
Various stains are available on BNDTC’s products and they include unstained, full-stained, partial-stained as well as customised options for staining as per customer requirement.
Functionality and Accessibility: Both TDD and TTBD meet the only APPLICATION criteria in their manufacture and that is the products must not only look good, it must also be super-good in engineering and it is easy to manufacture and worked on as an art form. It is BNDTC’s contention that ART must be FUNCTIONAL first before it can be DEMOCRATIC and POPULAR. BNDTC values freedom of expressing your unique ideas on wood and since our wood is sustainable, it is our wish and at the same time our ambition to make this a reality for anybody who loves art. Our products were designed for ease-of-access and versatility-of-applications.
